Colibri was formed
in 1998 as a highly skilled solution provider for the implementation,
customization and operation of Oracle and MS SQL Server databases and applications.
Initially a partnership
between a Senior Consultant at Oracle Netherlands (Paul van den Brink)
and an IT director who had twice implemented and managed full Oracle Applications
installations (Jim Cotten), the idea was simple and immediately popular.
By combining their experiences as consultants AND system managers, they
were able to provide a level of expertise and support that had been missing
from most Oracle / MS SQL Server consultancies.
The approach was
highly appreciated by initial customers and the small partnership grew
quickly.
Since then, Colibri
has established a main office in Roswell, Ga, USA and Colibri India in Mumbai, India. It employs a growing number of DBA's, functional
consultants and contractors.
The extensive Oracle and MS SQL Server
experience of Colibri's founding partners continues to shape their approach
to each client. It is the primary reason that Colibri provides the best,
most personal service in the industry.
